Pastor's Participation is a comprehensive benefits package designed to meet the needs of ministers and their families.
- Installed pastors must be enrolled in Pastor's Participation.
- Ministers who are not in an installed position and are regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week may be offered Pastor's Participation.
- Coverage includes PPO family medical, Defined Benefit Pension Plan, Retirement Savings Plan of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Temporary Disability Plan, and Death and Disability Plan.
- Employer cost is 39% of effective salary.

Minister's Choice is a benefits package that provides important financial protection for ministers.
- Coverage includes the Defined Benefit Pension Plan, Death and Disability Plan, Temporary Disability Plan, and Employee Assistance Plan.
- Minister's Choice also provides access to assistance and education programs available through Pastor's Participation.
- Employer cost is 10% of effective salary.
Benefits Grants for Organizing Pastors and Evangelists support the evangelism efforts of presbyteries planting churches and cultivating new ministries.
- These grants provide benefits support for up to five years as these organizing pastors and evangelists work to spread the gospel and develop new congregations.
- The minister must be employed by the presbytery in church job code 301 for no less than 20 hours per week and meet additional criteria.
- The cost to the presbytery for this coverage is free for the first three years, with a reduction through years four and five.
