Webinars are presented live, typically last one hour, and require a computer, internet access, and computer speakers or a telephone. Webinar attendees enrolled in the Medical Plan are awarded 50 Call to Health points.

Neil Goldfarb, President and CEO of the Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health, will discuss the variety of coverages available, and the Board’s Sharon Castillo, Director, Plan Administration, Interpretation, and Regulatory Matters, and Keenan Rodgers, Church Consultant, will participate in a Q&A session.
Neil Goldfarb brings over 30 years of healthcare experience to his role as President and CEO of the Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health. In this role, Neil serves as the voice for the Philadelphia region’s employers in working with providers, payers, and other system stakeholders to increase healthcare quality and safety, promote efficiency and access to care, and reduce costs of care. His previous positions include Executive Director of a quality improvement consulting and data collection firm and Vice President of Health Services and Provider Relations for a large Medicaid managed care plan. Since 2004, Neil has co-directed the College for Value-Based Purchasing of Health Benefits, an innovative national training program for employers. Neil is also a member of the Board of Governors of the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions.
Sharon Castillo is responsible for overall administration, compliance, and coordination of the healthcare program and related benefit programs offered to members of the Benefits Plan of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Sharon works closely with the Board’s General Counsel to interpret and implement new and existing legal requirements. She is passionate about improving employee health and well-being through education by promoting transparency, best practices, and healthcare quality. Sharon serves on the Transparency Work Group and Benefit Design Group of the Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health. She joined the Board in 1998.
Keenan Rodgers consults with employers about Board of Pensions benefits plans and programs. Keenan serves presbyteries in the Synod of Living Waters, Synod of the Mid-Atlantic, and Synod of Borinquen en Puerto Rico. Active in the life of the church, Keenan has served churches in Oklahoma and Georgia in a variety of volunteer and staff roles. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Join us to talk about how the natural resilience we all have within us can be nurtured and strengthened to cope with today’s challenges. We’ll discuss strategies for calming worries and share realistic ways to regain some balance.
Samantha Smith graduated from the University of Southern California and Smith College, where she studied and conducted research in the field of psychology. She has participated in national and international relief projects and worked as an EAP counselor assisting employees to manage the challenges of their work and personal lives. She is a life-enrichment educator, mindfulness coach, and motivational speaker who facilitates workshops in the U.S. and abroad that promote healthy living, stress management, and engaged communication.
