​If you’re enrolled in the PPO, EPO, or HDHP and you want to quit smoking or using tobacco products, your benefits include the Breathe Easy Ignite Your Life coaching program along with 100 percent coverage for certain smoking cessation medications.

Breathe Easy coaching program

Whether you use cigarettes, cigars, chew tobacco, or e-cigarettes, this six-week online coaching program, developed by tobacco treatment specialists, can help you kick the habit for good. You and your covered spouse may participate via live or recorded webinars, and there’s no cost to you.

To access the program, log in to the Call to Health website, click on the Ignite Your Life Coaching tile, and click Explore Coaching. Then select the Health & Fitness tile, scroll down, and click Register next to Breathe Easy.

You can earn 10 Call to Health points per week each week you complete a webinar and follow-up survey. You’ll automatically receive your points after you complete each survey.

Prescribed smoking cessation medications

You and your covered family members may be eligible to receive certain smoking cessation medications at no cost. To qualify, you must

  • be age 18 or older;
  • have a prescription from your doctor, even if the medication is available over the counter (OTC); and
  • fill the prescription at a network pharmacy.

You can receive up to a 180-day supply each year of the following medications (maximum daily dose quantity limits apply). Show your prescription ID card when you pick up your prescription; no copay or copayment is required.

    • nicotine replacement lozenge
    • nicotine replacement patch
  • prescription medications
    • bupropion sustained-release tablet (generic Zyban)
    • Chantix tablet*
    • Nicotrol inhaler*
    • Nicotrol nasal spray*

*100 percent covered only after you have first tried one OTC nicotine replacement product and bupropion sustained release tablets.
