Additional Medical Plan options for 2027

For PC(USA)-affiliated employers

New Medical Plan options will be available for 2027, providing greater choice and new ways to support the health and well-being of employees.

New PPO, EPO, and HDHP options

To give employers additional choices for their employees, new PPO, EPO, and HDHP options have been added to the Medical Plan, for a total of six options, effective Jan. 1, 2027.

These three new options will have the same features and coverage rules as the current PPO, EPO, and HDHP options with different out-of-pocket costs. All options are available for employees working at least 20 hours per week.

More details about the new PPO, EPO, and HDHP medical options will be shared in the summer.

Transitional Pastor’s Participation extended

If you have a minister on staff enrolled in Transitional Pastor’s Participation, it will be extended through 2029. This gives employers two additional years to transition ministers to other benefits options, such as the Covenant Package combined with the Medical Plan.
