Your benefits through the PPO, EPO, or HDHP medical options include an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), provided through Cigna Behavioral Health 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
EAP services include the following:
You, your eligible family members, and anyone living in your household can access EAP services. There's no ID card needed, but you do need an authorization number, available from an EAP advocate.
The EAP is not available to those enrolled in the Medicare Supplement Plan.

A one-time registration process is required on your first visit to the Cigna website:
If you have issues registering on the Cigna website, call the customer support line at 800-853-2713. When asked for an ID number or Social Security number, respond, "I don't have it," to connect to a customer service representative.

Note: The EAP is administered by Cigna, which refers members to Cigna-participating psychologists and other counselors. After your six free sessions, if you continue with the Cigna counselor and he or she does not also participate in the Medical Plan's network, you may incur out-of-network costs. Any ongoing therapy must be with a network counselor to be covered at the network rate. If you continue seeing an out-of-work counselor and you are enrolled in the EPO or HDHP, you will have no coverage beyond your six free sessions.
