Automatically included with medical coverage through the Board of Pensions, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides 24/7 support for everyday issues as well as life’s bigger challenges. And now through September 30, 2020, the EAP offers four additional sessions with a licensed clinician in Cigna’s EAP network — for a total of 10 free sessions — for those dealing with stress and anxiety related to the COVID-19 crisis.
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP), administered by Cigna, is a free, confidential service available to employees with medical coverage* through the Board of Pensions, their families, and anyone who lives with them. Whether you’re feeling stressed about COVID-19, concerned about identity theft, or need to find child care, the EAP can connect you to resources to help you find solutions:
Through September 30, 2020, you can get four additional sessions with a licensed clinician in Cigna’s EAP network — for a total of 10 free sessions — to help you deal with added stress and anxiety you may be feeling as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. All sessions are completely confidential, and available to anyone who lives in your home.
To access these free counseling sessions, you will need an EAP code. You can obtain a code by calling Cigna Behavioral Health at 866-640-2772 or by clicking on Visit an EAP counselor from the EAP coverage page of Cigna’s website. To take advantage of the four additional sessions, you must contact Cigna for an EAP code by September 30, 2020.
