Employers must report changes in service, status, or salary to the Board within 60 days of the change. To report these changes, log on to Benefits Connect and follow the prompts.
Timely Updates Are Critical
The Board will adjust hours, employment classification/benefit group, and/or salary when reported within 60 days of the change only. Important: Changes reported after 60 days of the change may affect eligibility, pension credit calculation (if applicable), and/or benefits payable.
In addition, depending on the change, members may be eligible to elect, update, or drop benefits coverage as the result of the change.
