- Select Find a Doctor or Rx tab.
- Select Find a Doctor, Hospital or other Medical Provider.
- Enter the first three letters of your member ID.
- Select Specialty.
- Select Submit.
Pre-certification is required** for some behavioral health and substance use disorder services. To learn more about which services require pre-certification, visit the Pre-Certification page on pensions.org.

Employee Assistance Program
Members also are entitled to free counseling through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which can be arranged by calling Cigna at 866-640-2772 or visiting its website. To learn more about the services provided through the EAP, visit the Employee Assistance Program page on pensions.org. EAP services are not available to those enrolled in the Medicare Supplement Plan.
* PPO: If you elect to use an out-of-network provider, benefits are paid on an out-of-network basis.
EPO: Out-of-network providers are not covered; member pays 100 percent of costs for out-of-network services.
** Before claims for services without required pre-certification are considered for reimbursement, the plan’s utilization review consultant, Highmark, determines the appropriateness and medical necessity for the services retroactively.
