Advent asks us to open our hearts to God’s love and grace. In response, Presbyterians have long given generously, through the Christmas Joy Offering (CJO), to help those ministers, other church workers, and their families in need, as well as students at racial ethnic schools and colleges of the PC(USA).
On December 18, churches throughout the denomination will again receive this Offering, which equally supports the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions and racial ethnic schools and colleges of the PC(USA).
Every congregation’s gifts to the Offering are critical to the future of these ministries, especially now when the need for funding is at its height. If you don’t already do so, please make the Christmas Joy Offering part of your Advent and Christmas tradition.

As always, you can give directly to the Assistance Program at pensions.org/giveassistance at any time during the year, but your gift is especially meaningful now, during this season of sharing God’s love.
Thank you for your gifts!
