Terry has served as a pastor of Presbyterian churches in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Edinburgh, Scotland for 30 years. He is a spiritual director, retreat leader, and poet. As an adjunct professor at New Brunswick Theological Seminary, Terry teaches courses in Christian spirituality. He serves as the spirituality faculty for CREDO conferences for recently ordained clergy.
Terry is currently serving as one of two pastor to pastors in Monmouth Presbytery, providing nurture and care to those serving in parish ministry.
Terry’s book, Sabbath Pause, was published in 2012. Terry leads regular pilgrimages to Uganda, where he works with a nonprofit, non-governmental organization serving children. He is a father of two young adults near the beginning of their own journeys and is married to Jan, a practicing psychotherapist who specializes in trauma.
Lori serves as Director, Wholeness Education, for the Board of Pensions. She is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and delivering face-to-face and online educational programs for Benefits Plan members that are rooted in the Board’s Theology of Benefits and consistent with the its strategic vision and initiatives.
Lori received a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Manchester College (now Manchester University), a Master of Arts in student personnel from Bowling Green State University, and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. Lori has 30 years of experience in higher education, including 10 years in theological higher education. She has also served in pastoral positions in both congregational and campus ministry contexts.
