The mission of Presbyterian CREDO is to provide opportunities for clergy to examine significant areas of their lives and to discern prayerfully the future direction of their vocation as they respond to God's call in a lifelong process of practice and transformation.
The Presbyterian CREDO Conference Experience
An eight-day, faith-based conference, Presbyterian CREDO helps ministers examine vocational, financial, health, and spiritual aspects of their lives and ministries, and discover how these seemingly disparate parts intersect. It is based on a core belief in the saving power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as expressed in the Baptismal Covenant.
The CREDO experience is designed to trigger personal discovery through guided reflection, introspection, and dialogue. Each participant commits to extensive reflection through pre-conference instruments that focus on personal and professional wellness.
Participation in a CREDO conference is by invitation only. Ministers between the ages of 40 and 55 with at least seven years of church service are randomly selected from the Board of Pensions database to receive an invitation.
