The Mid Council Leaders Gathering is part of a Board of Pensions strategy to engage the Church. The Board co-sponsors the annual gathering with the Office of the General Assembly for presbytery and synod executives and stated clerks.
The Mid Council Leaders Gathering is an opportunity for mid council leaders and staff of both sponsoring agencies to engage with one another in a collaborative environment. Those who attend
Registration for each annual Mid Council Leaders Gathering opens in early August. Stated clerks and executives of each mid council receive an email, usually in July, asking them to submit the names of two presbytery-designated attendees. These two are eligible for a subsidized conference rate and a travel allowance. The rate is higher for additional attendees, and they do not receive a travel allowance.
The 2019 Mid Council Leaders Gathering will be held October 18-20, at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel, in Baltimore, Maryland.
