THRIVE seminar offers holistic approach to retirement planning

January 17, 2020

Thinking about retirement? Attend a THRIVE seminar for help with planning and preparation.

If you are 10 or fewer years away from retirement, THRIVE can help guide you with a holistic approach to retirement planning. Short for Thinking Retirement: Identity, Vocation, and Economics, THRIVE is a two-day retirement planning seminar offered by the Board of Pensions through Board University.

Taught by Board University educators and other experts throughout the country, this interactive, hands-on learning opportunity covers subject matters such as financial planning and retirement healthcare options as part of a larger exploration of identity, health, and vocation in retirement. At the seminar, you’ll identify key questions for discernment in planning for retirement; assess finances and develop appropriate expectations for retirement living; discover tools and resources for do-it-yourself retirement preparation; and more.

THRIVE is offered at no cost to members of the Benefits Plan of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and their spouses or partners.

2020 seminar dates and registration

Several dates have already been scheduled throughout the country for THRIVE seminars this year, starting in March. Registration is open for the March 5-6 seminar in Cincinnati, Ohio; for subsequent dates, registration will open a couple months prior to the seminar.
