Last chance to save money on your 2020 medical deductibles

October 31, 2019
It’s not hard to answer the Call to Health, but you need to act now to qualify for reduced deductibles next year.

There’s still time to earn reduced medical deductibles in 2020 with Call to Health — but you need to act by November 15. Members must complete Level 1 (at least 1,000 points) to save $220 or more in deductibles next year. Covered spouses who complete Level 1 will receive a $100 Tango gift card.

Earning points

If you haven’t started answering the call, don’t be discouraged because points add up quickly. For example, if you’ve had your annual preventive checkup (a Call to Health requirement worth 400 points), dental cleaning (50 points), and routine vision exam (50 points), simply log on to the Call to Health website to record each activity and you’ll already be at 500 points. Complete the online Well-Being Assessment (a required challenge) for another 300 points to bring your total to 800.

Then, complete other optional challenges, such as Know Your Numbers (100 points), Annual Enrollment (50 points), and Snacks for Better Sleep (50 points), until your point total reaches 1,000, and you will have answered the call. It’s that simple.

Encouraging wholeness

Not only is it easy to answer the call, but you’ll be taking steps toward being your best in all areas of your life: spiritual, health, financial, and vocational. Don’t miss out on all that Call to Health has to offer. Answer the call today.

*Call to Health is available to employees and their spouses with medical coverage through the Board of Pensions; it is not available to members enrolled in Triple-S, GeoBlue, or the Medicare Supplement Plan.
