Changes coming to Retirement Savings Plan investment lineup

May 20, 2019

When the market closes at 4 p.m. ET July 8, 2019, the Royce Opportunity Fund Institutional Class will no longer be available and the Fidelity Global ex U.S. Index Fund will be added to the investment lineup.

The Board of Pensions continually evaluates the range, performance, and value of investment options available in the Retirement Savings Plan, and has decided to make two changes in the plan’s investment lineup. These changes are part of the Board’s ongoing commitment to offering a plan that is well positioned to help participants meet their financial goals.

When the market closes at 4 p.m. ET July 8, 2019

  • the Royce Opportunity Fund Institutional Class will no longer be available; and
  • the Fidelity Global ex U.S. Index Fund will be added to the investment lineup.

If you are invested in the Royce Opportunity Fund through the Retirement Savings Plan, any existing balances and future contributions to the fund will transfer to an existing investment option, the Fidelity Extended Market Index Fund. Plan participants who are satisfied with how their investment elections will be modified do not need to take action. However, if you would like to invest in a different fund option, you must change your investment options by calling Fidelity Investments, the plan record keeper, at 800-343-0860 or logging onto the Fidelity website.

All Retirement Savings Plan participants will receive more information from Fidelity about these changes and the new Fidelity Global ex U.S. Index Fund.
