Synod of the Mid-Atlantic (except North Carolina)
Martha H. Reisner joined the Board in 2017 from the Capital Region Theological Center (CRTC), where she was Executive Director. CRTC is a not-for-profit ecumenical educational and consulting center serving upstate New York and western New England congregations and faith-based organizations.
Before joining CRTC, Martha worked with Accenture, an international management consulting firm; served as Director of Christian Education at Westminster Presbyterian Church of Albany, New York; taught high school biology in Wisconsin; and worked in computer sales and marketing in Chicago.
Martha holds a Bachelor of Arts in biology and music from Lawrence University, an Illinois secondary school teaching certification from DePaul University, and a Master of Science in biology from the University of Michigan. She is an elder in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), and has served as a deacon and a trustee, on a presbytery disaster response team, and in local and African mission work.
The presbyteries in Martha’s region lie in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
