Employers must report the following changes to the Board within 60 days of the change.
Change in Service — The member has accepted employment at a new church or other PC(USA)-affiliated employer. Complete and return the Service Change form within 60 days of the change.
Change in Status — The member's position and/or eligibility for benefits has changed at the current employer. Complete and return the Change in Employment Status form within 60 days of the change.
Salary Change — To report a change in salary, log on to Benefits Connect within 60 days of the change and follow the prompts.
Timely Updates Are Critical
The Board will adjust hours, employment classification/benefit group, or salary when reported within 60 days of the change only. Important: Changes reported after 60 days of the change may affect eligibility, pension credit calculation (if applicable), and/or benefits payable.
In addition, depending on the change, members may be eligible to elect, update, or drop benefits coverage as the result of the change.
