Did you know the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) provides financial assistance to ministers, other church workers, and their families in need?
As the Body of Christ, the Church cares about all aspects of church workers' well-being, including financial. Church workers cannot bring their best gifts to ministry when deep financial concerns are weighing on their hearts.
If you have such a concern, the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions may be able to help.
The ministry of the Assistance Program ranges from income and housing supplements for retired church workers and their spouses to shared and emergency grants, among others, for active church workers and their families in need. Each grant program has eligibility criteria and award limits.
The funds that support the Assistance Program are freely given by generous Presbyterians and others who want to share God's love; no funds paid for benefits are used.
To learn more, visit the Assistance Program pages of pensions.org. The Assistance Program also welcomes your call at 800-773-7752 (800-PRESPLAN).
Remember: The Assistance Program expresses our care for one another by helping PC(USA) church workers in need. Together, we are the Body of Christ.
