Almost 1,600 Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) employers received a letter from Fidelity Investments last week reminding them that, beginning October 1, the only way to contribute to the Retirement Savings Plan of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) (RSP) is through the online Simplified Contribution Platform (SCP). As of October 1, Fidelity will no longer accept paper forms and checks from these employers.
All remaining PC(USA) employers who currently use paper forms and checks to submit RSP contributions will receive a similar reminder between now and the end of October. These employers must register and upload their banking information on SCP by early November to allow for account validation. The paper-based contribution process will be discontinued for them November 27.
If you have completed your SCP registration and provided your banking information through SCP, or if you are already submitting RSP contributions through SCP, no further action is required.
If you have not yet received your SCP login, look for an email from Appian by mid-October with your temporary password. Register and upload your banking information as soon as possible.
If you have received SCP login information but are still using the paper-based process, you must take immediate action:
- Log in to SCP at contribution.appiancloud.com (username is your email address in lowercase).
- Complete your SCP registration by setting up your bank account information and email notifications.
- Contact the Fidelity service team at 800-917-4369 right away if you have difficulty registering on SCP, receiving bank account validation, or submitting contributions.
If you have questions about the SCP transition, call your Fidelity service team at the number above.
