The Member Advocate is dedicated to improving overall service to Benefits Plan members and strengthening the Board’s culture of advocacy.
The Member Advocate is well versed in the plan and skilled in researching complex situations. The Member Advocate lends personal support to members having difficulty navigating the plan.
As needed, the Member Advocate works closely with the Board’s third-party providers to facilitate quality service, timely delivery of care, and payment of claims.
The Member Advocate is in a position to help the Board identify trends and areas for improvement. The goal is to increase member satisfaction.
